Princeton Digital Group (PDG), a leading data center provider in the Asia Pacific, has broken ground on its 120 MW hyperscale data center campus in Bekasi Regency, Greater Jakarta (19/11).
The JC3 campus is among Indonesia’s largest and most advanced data center facilities.
The project represents a USD 1 billion investment and is purpose-built for hyperscale and AI workloads. The first phase is scheduled to be ready for service by Q4 2026.
AI-Ready Infrastructure with Hyperscale Capabilities
Located 25 km from PDG’s JC2 campus in Cibitung, JC3 features modular construction for scalability and speed. It incorporates advanced direct-to-chip cooling, while retaining flexibility for conventional cooling, to handle high-density AI and cloud workloads efficiently.
Sustainability and Renewable Energy Commitment
In line with PDG’s Net Zero 2030 target, JC3 will use renewable energy sources and is aiming for LEED certification. Building on the success of JC2, Indonesia’s first biomass-powered data center, JC3 integrates next-generation liquid cooling to improve energy efficiency and environmental performance.
“Indonesia is one of the fastest-growing digital economies in Asia Pacific, and we remain deeply committed to supporting its continued growth,” said Varoon Raghavan, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of PDG. “Backed by a proven track record of delivery excellence across the region, our JC3 campus is purpose-built to provide the scale, performance, and sustainability our global and local customers require as cloud and AI workloads accelerate.”
Strategic Connectivity and Operational Scale
JC3 will be powered by dual-grid feeds from PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN Persero), with full power capacity already contracted. As a carrier-neutral facility, it will offer multiple fiber routes to Jakarta’s core network and key internet exchanges, ensuring seamless connectivity for customers.
With JC3 operational, PDG’s total capacity in Indonesia will reach approximately 230 MW, strengthening its position as one of the largest and most trusted data center operators in the country.
