UGM’s Edutech and Green‑Tech Startups Reach Finals at National Pertamuda Competition

Orionex Solusi Digital, also known as AutoInsight, became one of the three UGM student teams to reach the final stage of the national student entrepreneurship competition, Pertamuda Seed and Scale 2025. The team won the Early Stage Startup (ESS) category, earning development funding of IDR 100,000,000, business mentorship worth IDR 25,000,000, and the opportunity to join an exclusive overseas business program facilitated by PT Pertamina (Persero).

Orionex Solusi Digital Offers Collaborative SaaS Business Solutions

Orionex Solusi Digital was developed by Bellatrix Gracia Antemeng (Biomedical Engineering) and Rafael Revolusiandro Naranisputra Hutapea (Accounting). The startup provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform designed to support collaborative and efficient digital business processes.

Other UGM Teams Highlight Education and Green Technology Innovations

Two other UGM teams also competed at Pertamuda 2025. Edus.id, created by Vicky Rian Saputra (Political Science) and Shahrin Nuri Ramadhani, focuses on a parenting education edutech platform that combines technology with child psychology. Greentech.id, founded by Arief Putra Pratama (Mechanical Engineering) and Muhammad Nabil Alfaizi, developed eco-friendly products EcoPave and EcoStep, made from recycled plastic, rice husks, and used oil.

Dr. Hempri Suyatna, Director of Student Affairs at UGM, expressed pride in the university’s students advancing to the final stage. “These three UGM student teams represent UGM in national entrepreneurship, and we are grateful that Orionex Solusi Digital (AutoInsight) won,” he said on October 30 at the UGM campus.

Hempri explained that Pertamuda Seed and Scale is a national student business idea competition aimed at supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging the creation of startups, and expanding youth contributions to national energy transformation. This year’s theme, “Empowering Indonesia’s Sustainable Future”, marks the fifth anniversary of the program since its launch in 2021.

UGM Teams Stand Out in a Competitive National Field

Bellatrix Gracia Antemeng added that Pertamuda 2025 involved 3,586 participants from 759 universities across 35 provinces. After multiple selection stages, 40 teams entered the Bootcamp, 29 teams advanced to the Demoday, and 17 teams reached the Final Pitch & Awarding at The Alana Yogyakarta Hotel & Convention Center. “We are grateful that three UGM teams reached the final stage, and our team won,” she said.
