DCII Receives Massive Rp17 Trillion Credit Facility from BCA for Data Center Development Plans

PT DCI Indonesia Tbk (DCII) has obtained a Rp17 trillion credit facility from Bank Central Asia Tbk to support its data center expansion plans (30/04).

The agreement will fund capital expenditure, focusing on the construction and completion of data center facilities.

Financing Aimed at Meeting Contracted Customer Demand

DCII stated that the facility will be used to finance capital expenditure needs related to building and completing data centers, as well as fulfilling customer demand for contracted capacity.

“This facility will be used to finance capital expenditure needs for the construction and completion of data center facilities, as well as to fulfill customer demand for contracted capacity,” the company said in its disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (05/05).

Collateral Includes Assets and Equipment

As part of the loan agreement, the company has prepared collateral in the form of land and buildings, along with all existing and future data center machinery and equipment.

Insurance claim receivables are also included as part of the guarantees.

In addition, DCII’s current account at BCA is temporarily pledged until all collateral requirements are fully secured.

No Negative Impact on Business Operations

Management confirmed that the financing facility will not have a negative impact on operations, legal aspects, financial condition, or business continuity.

The company stated that the loan will instead strengthen its long-term funding structure and support project completion and contracted service delivery.

As of Tuesday (05/05), DCII shares were unchanged at Rp198,250.

The stock declined by 1.77 percent over the past month and fell 9.59 percent over the last three months.
