Hans has almost eight years of experience at Gojek, GoPay, and later at the GoTo Group. He joined Gojek in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer, focusing on operations and the driver-partner ecosystem. In 2021, he led what became GoTo Financial, overseeing the launch of the Company’s lending business and the GoPay app, now one of Indonesia’s most widely-used fintech platforms.

In early 2024, Hans was appointed GoTo’s Chief Operating Officer, responsible for shaping the Group's strategy and driving the Company’s cloud migration project. In July 2025, the role of President of On-Demand Services was added to his portfolio.

Before joining Gojek, Hans worked in the USA, China, and Singapore at multinational companies, including as a Partner at the management consulting firm McKinsey.
