Telkom Indonesia’s Stunting Action Hub program has received recognition at the IDX Channel Anugerah Inovasi Indonesia 2025. The initiative uses digital technology to help prevent stunting in children across Indonesia.
The award reflects Telkom’s commitment to providing technology-based solutions that create tangible benefits for society.
Digital Solutions Supporting National Stunting Prevention
Stunting remains a national issue. The Indonesia Health Survey 2023 recorded a stunting prevalence of 21.5%, which decreased to 19.8% in 2024. This is still above the RPJMN 2024 target of 14%, showing the need for quick and effective interventions.
“As a digital telco company, Telkom Indonesia continues to provide technology-based innovations that deliver real impact for society,” said Hery Susanto, Senior General Manager of Social Responsibility at Telkom. “Through Stunting Action Hub, we want to show that digitalization can connect technology and humanity and ensure every Indonesian child has the chance to grow healthy through sustainable and integrated solutions.”
Six Key Components of the Stunting Action Hub
The program includes six main activities: educating cadres and parents on app use, providing stunting data analytics, monitoring and field interventions, distributing TJSL aid, recording actions in the digital system, and using dashboards by puskesmas and local authorities.
In 2025, the program reached 591 children, involved 53 health center cadres, and covered 42 posyandu across Indonesia. Its digital approach improves coordination, speeds up monitoring, and ensures more precise interventions.
Measurable Social Impact and Policy Benefits
The initiative simplifies data collection for cadres, ensures accurate measurements, improves result interpretation, and accelerates monitoring. Local governments, BKKBN, and puskesmas can use dashboards for evidence-based policy-making, while parents can track their child’s growth accurately.
High-risk children are identified faster, allowing for timely care. The program reports a Social Return on Investment (SROI) of 1:1.75, meaning every one rupiah invested produces 1.75 times in community benefits.
Telkom’s Contribution to Sustainable Development Goals
The program aligns with SDGs, including SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). Stunting Action Hub demonstrates how digital technology strengthens health systems, improves nutrition quality, and supports a healthy and resilient social ecosystem.
This award recognizes Telkom’s role in creating an integrated digital platform that connects stakeholders from cadres to government agencies to improve stunting prevention and care.
