Leadership Changes Support Telkom’s Transformation
Telkom said the management changes are expected to strengthen governance and contribute to improved company performance while supporting the successful implementation of the TLKM 30 transformation agenda.
The leadership changes were approved alongside the company’s InfraCo spin-off, which is part of Telkom’s strategy to monetize high-value assets and develop strategic partnerships to capture growth opportunities.
The establishment of InfraNexia as the operating company for TelkomGroup’s network infrastructure business also supports Telkom’s transformation from an Operating Holding into a Strategic Holding through a Holding Company-Operating Company (HoldCo-OpCo) model.
Leadership Change Comes Alongside InfraNexia Spin-Off
On the same day as the RUPSLB, Telkom and InfraNexia signed the deed of spin-off as a key milestone in the completion of the second phase of the InfraCo spin-off.
More than 90% of Telkom’s network infrastructure assets were consolidated into InfraNexia. The infrastructure covers approximately 112,000 kilometers of fiber-optic networks, including 26,000 kilometers of domestic submarine cable systems, with a total transaction value of approximately Rp85.7 trillion.
Nanang said InfraNexia is expected to sharpen its business focus and improve infrastructure asset productivity to increase the contribution of external markets to TelkomGroup’s B2B Infrastructure segment.
“With a stronger scale and focus, InfraNexia is expected to manage infrastructure more optimally while opening its utilization to more industry players. This step is part of TelkomGroup’s efforts to build a business that is more focused and competitive and capable of creating much greater value from each strategic asset it owns,” Nanang said.
