Bank Mandiri maintained solid performance through August 2026, supported by healthy intermediation growth and wider customer activity across its digital ecosystem (04/09).
On a bank-only basis, Bank Mandiri’s credit distribution reached Rp1,592 trillion by the end of August 2026, growing 17.6 percent year on year (YoY). The growth was carried out with a prudent approach by considering sector prospects and risk profiles, keeping asset quality under control.
The bank’s non-performing loan (NPL) ratio stood at 1.00 percent, while its NPL coverage ratio reached 240.6 percent.
As part of its role as a development agent, Bank Mandiri continued to direct financing to productive sectors with growth prospects and a real impact on the economy. The financing is expected to support business development, strengthen the people’s economy, and create jobs.
Credit growth was supported by third-party funds (DPK), which rose 17.6 percent YoY to Rp1,687 trillion. The funding structure remained strong, with savings reaching Rp563 trillion and current accounts totaling Rp623 trillion.
Digital Transactions Support Bank Mandiri’s Growth
Bank Mandiri’s performance was also supported by increased transaction activity across its digital ecosystem.
Livin’ by Mandiri had around 42.2 million users, with transaction frequency reaching 3.32 billion. Meanwhile, Kopra by Mandiri had 385,300 registered users, while transactions through the platform reached 1.05 billion.
The increase in transaction activity also strengthened the contribution of fee-based income (FBI) to Bank Mandiri’s performance.
Through the end of August 2026, FBI grew 12.9 percent YoY. The growth was partly supported by recurring fee-based income from Livin’ and Kopra, in line with higher transaction frequency and a wider range of customer activities on the two platforms.
Bank Mandiri Net Profit Rises 22.3 Percent
Supported by intermediation growth, higher transaction activity, and increasingly diversified income, Bank Mandiri recorded bank-only net profit of Rp37.5 trillion through August 2026.
Net profit grew 22.3 percent YoY.
Bank Mandiri Finance & Strategy Director Novita Widya Anggraini said the achievement provides a foundation for the company to maintain healthy and sustainable growth.
“Going forward, we will maintain the quality of intermediation while strengthening Bank Mandiri’s digital capabilities. We are taking these steps so that we can continue to contribute to the national economy and provide convenient banking services for customers,” Novita said in an official statement on Friday (04/09).
Livin’ and Kopra Expand Access to Banking Services
Novita said Bank Mandiri continued to develop Livin’ by Mandiri and Kopra by Mandiri as the main gateways for customers to access banking products and services.
Through this approach, customer interactions go beyond transactions and develop according to their financial needs and business activities.
In the retail segment, Livin’ by Mandiri connects everyday transactions with various financial management services in one application. In addition to transfers, payments, and QRIS transactions, customers can open deposits and planned savings accounts, access investments, and meet lifestyle needs.
Livin’ Call allows customers to connect directly with Bank Mandiri service officers through the application without phone charges. Livin’ Next-G provides savings and digital transaction solutions for younger users connected with their parents.
“We will continue to enrich Livin’ by Mandiri with increasingly complete and personalized services, from daily transactions to lifestyle and investment needs. In this way, Livin’ can continue to be part of customers’ daily lives while supporting their various financial needs,” Novita said.
For the business segment, Kopra by Mandiri helps businesses manage transactions and cash flow, while Livin’ Merchant makes it easier to receive payments.
The ecosystem is also connected to financing solutions, including Kredit Usaha Mikro (KUM) and Kredit Usaha Rakyat (KUR). Through these solutions, MSMEs can receive banking support according to the development of their businesses.
“Our focus going forward is to maintain healthy growth while continuing to expand Bank Mandiri’s ecosystem. We want to ensure that customers can obtain reliable, accessible services that meet their needs through Livin’, Kopra, and Bank Mandiri’s entire service network,” Novita said.
