Five AI Startups Develop Solutions for Different Industries

GVV Batch 9 focuses on the use of AI to help startups adapt to rapid and dynamic industry changes. Indonesia has more than 45 AI startups, while local AI startups account for about 4% of total AI funding in ASEAN-10.

The five selected startups develop AI-based solutions for different industry needs.

Algobash focuses on recruitment and talent assessment. The startup helps companies simplify candidate selection through AI video interviews, psychometric assessments and technical skills testing.

Dash helps companies manage frontline operations across multiple locations. Its solutions include workforce scheduling, task distribution, payroll and access to electric vehicle fleets.

Fineksi is a financial technology startup that uses AI to help financial institutions accelerate risk assessment and credit decision-making. Its solutions include document processing, financial statement analysis and credit underwriting.

Grivy is a commerce intelligence startup that helps businesses connect online customer interactions with offline sales. It uses O2O attribution, AI commerce agents and digital promotions to help businesses understand and improve their commercial activities.

Sekilo is an AI-based startup developing an operating system for Indonesia’s halal protein supply chain. Its solution integrates supply and demand matching, processing, cold storage, logistics and financing.

GVV Batch 9 Provides Mentorship and Pilot Project Opportunities

The five selected startups will receive access to mentorship and leadership knowledge, as well as opportunities to conduct pilot projects with Grab.

GVV Batch 9 is supported by Superbank, Komdigi and Sweef Institute as strategic partners. The partnerships provide startup founders with access to the digital banking ecosystem, networks, expertise and funding opportunities to support their business development.

Since its launch in 2018, GVV has received more than 800 applications and supported 40 startup alumni. More than 85% of the alumni are still operating today.
