BSI Encourages Cashless Transactions and Safety Advice at Eight Eid Homecoming Service Posts

Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) has established eight Eid homecoming service posts along major transportation routes in Java and Sumatra to support travelers during the peak migration season (16/03).

The service posts provide healthcare, rest facilities, and financial services to help ensure safer and more comfortable journeys for the public.

The initiative is part of a collaboration between Danantara Indonesia and BP BUMN under the “Mudik Gratis Bersama BUMN 2026” program, involving both parent and subsidiary companies.

Service Posts Located at Major Transportation Hubs

The eight locations include Terminal Pulo Gebang, Pasar Senen Station, Gambir Station, Bakauheni Port mosque, Cipali and Cipularang rest area mosques, Merak Port, and Ketapang Port.

These sites were selected due to high traffic volumes, allowing them to serve as stopover points for long-distance travelers.

The government estimates that more than 190 million people will participate in the annual Eid migration, making it the largest seasonal movement in Indonesia.

Facilities Include Health Services, Rest Areas, and Banking Access

BSI provides free health checks, relaxation massage services, and rest areas to help travelers maintain their physical condition during long journeys.

Additional services include consultations for Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf, as well as distribution of iftar meals before breaking the fast.

At mosque locations in Cipularang and Cipali, water dispensers are available for travelers who bring their own bottles.

The service posts also offer children’s play areas, cash exchange services, digital banking activation, and account opening through BYOND by BSI.

BSI Promotes Cashless Transactions and Customer Awareness

BSI Retail Banking Director Kemas Erwan Husainy stated that the service posts reflect the company’s commitment to serving the public during important moments.

“Posko Mudik BSI kami hadirkan untuk memberikan kenyamanan dan keamanan bagi para pemudik... Ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen kami untuk terus hadir melayani masyarakat kapan pun dan di mana pun,” he said.

He encouraged the public to use cashless transactions during the Eid holiday period to improve convenience and security.

He also reminded customers to remain alert to fraud attempts and to ensure that information comes from official BSI channels.

Ramadan Promotions Offered Through Digital Banking Platforms

BSI also introduced Ramadan and Eid promotions for its customers.

Users of the BSI Hasanah Card can receive discounts of up to 50 percent and installment plans of up to 24 months at selected merchants.

Through the BYOND application, customers can receive Rp100,000 cashback for registering and opening a BSI Gold account, and Rp50,000 cashback for existing users who open the same account.

The application also includes a “Traktir Teman” program, allowing users to share while contributing donations of Qur’ans.
