Great Eastern Life and EMC Healthcare Revolutionize Health Insurance Benefits
Great Eastern Life Indonesia, in partnership with EMC Healthcare, has launched the innovative GREATHealth+ EMC program, integrating BPJS Kesehatan and private insurance benefits. This collaboration aims to optimize health coverage while ensuring quality and affordable medical care. The program was officially announced at EMC Alam Sutera Hospital, with key representatives including Jusup Halimi, Nina Ong, and Muhammad Nasrun Ihsan.
The GREATHealth+ EMC program introduces a cost-sharing mechanism, where BPJS Kesehatan acts as the primary payor and Great Eastern Life Indonesia as the secondary payor. This innovative structure allows patients to access comprehensive medical services across seven EMC hospitals without incurring unnecessary financial strain.
Additionally, the initiative includes the Clinical Pathway pilot project, designed to improve treatment quality and manage costs through technology-driven claims monitoring. This ensures patients receive appropriate care without compromising medical standards or escalating costs.
Nina Ong, President Director of Great Eastern Life Indonesia, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation, stating, “We aim to reduce financial burdens while maintaining high-quality care, empowering our customers to lead fulfilling lives.” Similarly, AdMedika, a key collaborator, highlighted the importance of addressing the growing demand for accessible healthcare solutions.
With its focus on sustainable healthcare financing, GREATHealth+ EMC reflects the evolving needs of Indonesia’s health insurance landscape, setting a benchmark for effective cost-sharing models.
