PT Graha Sarana Duta (Telkom Property) has partnered with V-Green Indonesia, part of the VinFast Group, to develop public electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) across Indonesia (01/12).
Strategic Partnership to Support National EV Infrastructure
Amini Kusumawati, Business Director at Telkom Property, said in Jakarta on Sunday that the memorandum of understanding shows both parties’ commitment to strengthen strategic cooperation for national EV infrastructure development.
"This synergy is a crucial step for Telkom Property in strengthening its contribution to the national green energy transition agenda," Amini stated.
The partnership aims to accelerate the SPKLU network expansion and support government initiatives for a clean energy transition.
Utilizing TelkomGroup Assets for Nationwide Deployment
The collaboration will use TelkomGroup’s assets, including office buildings, service centers, parking areas, and commercial properties across Indonesia, to build charging stations.
"Through collaboration with V-Green, we are committed to continuously optimizing TelkomGroup’s assets to provide sustainable added value, while also promoting the electric vehicle ecosystem as part of the future of environmentally friendly mobility in Indonesia," Amini added.
This aligns with TelkomGroup’s Green Transformation initiative, which focuses on energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and integrating digital technology into environmentally friendly infrastructure.
IoT-Enabled Monitoring for Operational Efficiency
As of October 2025, six SPKLU locations from the collaboration are operational or in the bypass phase, serving as national pilot projects. These stations are equipped with IoT-based monitoring systems that track energy, transactions, and performance in real time.
"Through synergy with Telkom Property, we are confident in accelerating the development of a massive and comprehensive SPKLU network across Indonesia," said Mai Truong Giang, CEO of V-Green Indonesia.
Over 400 New Locations in Planning for Second Phase
Following the MoU, more than 400 additional locations are currently undergoing licensing and technical coordination for the second phase of SPKLU development. The sites include Telkom service buildings and city center areas.
Implementation of this phase is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, before expansion to additional locations.
