BCA 2025: Net Profit Grows 5.7% to Rp43.4 Trillion Amid 7.6% Loan Expansion

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) and its subsidiaries reported a 7.6% year-on-year increase in total loans, reaching Rp944 trillion by September 2025. This growth, underpinned by prudent lending and solid liquidity, supported a net profit rise of 5.7% to Rp43.4 trillion for the first nine months of 2025.

“Loan disbursements across various segments and sectors up to September 2025 reflects our commitment to supporting national economic growth,” said Hendra Lembong, President Director of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk.

Diversified Loan Portfolio with Emphasis on Corporate and Sustainable Financing

Corporate loans led the expansion, rising 10.4% to Rp436.9 trillion, followed by commercial loans growing 5.7% to Rp142.9 trillion, and SME loans increasing 7.7% to Rp129.3 trillion. Consumer loans also advanced 3.3% to Rp223.6 trillion, supported by a 6.4% increase in mortgages to Rp138.8 trillion.

BCA maintained strong loan quality, with a loan at risk ratio improving from 6.1% to 5.5%, and a manageable non-performing loan ratio of 2.1%. Provisions for NPLs and LAR remained adequate at 166.6% and 69.5%, respectively.

Sustainable finance saw a notable 12.7% growth, totaling Rp241 trillion or 25.5% of total loans. BCA’s commitment to ESG principles is evident through initiatives such as sustainable waste management at the BCA Expo 2025, which introduced the Bakti BCA Recycling Machine to process plastic bottles, potentially reducing carbon emissions by 18.1 tons of CO₂.

CASA Growth and Digital Innovations Enhance Customer Experience

Total third-party funds rose 7.0%, primarily driven by CASA (current and savings accounts), which accounted for 83.8% of these funds. CASA increased 9.1% to Rp999 trillion, in line with a 78% surge in transaction frequency over three years.

BCA continues enhancing its myBCA app, allowing users to manage One-Time Passwords (OTP) directly, conduct transactions more conveniently via the myBCA Keyboard, personalize menus, and access 18 foreign currencies, including the recently added UAE Dirham.

“BCA remains committed to advancing QRIS Cross Border technology across multiple countries,” noted Hendra Lembong, highlighting its availability in Japan through the myBCA app. The bank also rewarded loyal customers via the Gebyar Hadiah BCA program.

Bakti BCA’s Community Initiatives Create Lasting Societal Impact

The Genera-Z Berbakti program concluded with impactful projects from four university teams across Indonesia, including an IoT-based tsunami detection system and localized rainfall measurement tools implemented in BCA-assisted tourism villages.

Bakti BCA’s efforts extended to supporting artisans, nearly doubling revenue through the Kawan Nusantara exhibitions featuring silver craftsmanship from Bali’s Taro Tourism Village.

Education initiatives continue with over 8,500 Bakti BCA Scholarship recipients, while healthcare outreach has provided nearly 10,000 free cataract surgeries across 21 provinces, including remote and underdeveloped regions.

Environmental conservation remains a priority, marked by the inauguration of a turtle conservation facility at Goa Cemara Beach, Yogyakarta, where close to 65,000 hatchlings have been released and over 1,000 nests relocated.
