At the 2025 Google Cloud Summit in Jakarta, Google Cloud and Komdigi officially launched the Google for Startups Accelerator Southeast Asia: Indonesia, AI-Focused.
This new program is tailored for startups headquartered in Indonesia that are developing generative AI or AI agentic products.
Google Cloud’s Economic Vision for Indonesian Startups
Fanly Tanto, Country Director of Google Cloud Indonesia, cited research from Public First showing that effective use of Google Cloud’s platforms, including AI and data analytics, could unlock up to IDR 990 trillion in economic value by 2030.
“As part of Google’s ‘Rising Together with AI’ initiative, we are launching ‘Indonesia, AI-Focused’ with Komdigi to support 100 high-performing AI startups in Indonesia over the next five years,” he stated.
Ministerial Support Aligned with Indonesia’s 2045 Vision
Meutya Hafid, Minister of Communication and Digital, thanked Google for its consistent support over nearly a decade.
“This aligns with the grand vision of Golden Indonesia 2045, where technology, especially AI is expected to drive inclusive and sustainable economic progress,” she said.
The program is a joint effort between the government and private sector to equip startups with global-class technology and training for developing AI innovations across key sectors such as education, health, finance, agriculture, smart cities, environment, and social services.
First Cohort to Receive Equity-Free Access to Resources
The inaugural batch, open to 20 selected startups, will begin in September 2025 and run for three months without requiring participants to give up equity.
Each selected startup will gain:
- Up to US$350,000 in Google Cloud credits

- Workshops led by Komdigi and Google Cloud at the Komdigi Digital Innovation Hub
- Technical project support and mentorship from Google experts and Komdigi’s Founders Meet Experts program
