Two Indonesian MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), Made Tea and Bali Honey, have successfully exported honey and tea to the Philippines for the first time. This achievement was made possible through the Pertamina MSME Program, which provides mentorship, training, and market access to small businesses in Indonesia.
According to Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina, this milestone demonstrates that Indonesian MSME export potential is growing. "The success of our MSMEs in entering the Philippines and other international markets is solid proof that local products have global business growth potential," he said.

Ismail, the owner of Bali Honey, acknowledged the critical role of Pertamina’s MSME Program in his company’s growth. "Through export training, legal support, and opportunities to meet international buyers, we have been able to achieve this milestone," he said.
Meanwhile, Made Tea's owner, Ni Made Roni, emphasized the importance of expanding beyond the Philippines. "With growing demand, we are preparing for future shipments and aiming to enter other Asian markets," she stated.
