Meet CoffeeSpace: Your Matchmaker for Startup Partners

CoffeeSpace is revolutionizing the way entrepreneurs find co-founders with its innovative social networking app. Designed for those exploring startup ideas, the platform debuted as part of the Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 and aims to simplify the process of finding business partners.

Founded by Hazim Mohamad, CoffeeSpace employs a sophisticated algorithm that matches users based on specific criteria. This ensures that candidates are not only compatible but also meet each other’s unique requirements. Users can filter potential matches based on expertise, location, industry, and other relevant factors.

“We’re helping people realize their dreams of exploring their startup ideas,” Mohamad stated. He draws a parallel between CoffeeSpace and the impact Tinder had on online dating a decade ago, emphasizing the transformative potential of the app in connecting entrepreneurs.

Launched in March, CoffeeSpace has already attracted over 7,000 users, who have collectively made more than 270,000 swipes on the app. The user interface is inspired by Hinge, allowing for a blend of public and private information in user profiles. Public data is pulled from LinkedIn, while users manually enter private details, such as their location and specific co-founder preferences, like seeking someone with expertise in product design.

CoffeeSpace operates on a freemium model, granting users access to the app and offering 10 matches at no cost. For those looking to expand their network further, a premium subscription is available for $50 per month, unlocking additional matches and advanced filters to refine searches even more.

By bridging the gap between aspiring entrepreneurs and potential co-founders, CoffeeSpace is poised to change the landscape of startup collaborations, making it easier for innovators to find the partners they need to bring their visions to life.
