Indonesian parking solutions startup Soul Parking, operated by PT Solusi Parkir Nusantara, has successfully completed its Series A Extension funding round. The amount raised remains undisclosed, but prominent investors such as AC Ventures and AppWorks led the initiative. Other contributors included Taiwan Mobile, USPACE, and Wavemaker Ventures.
This strategic funding will enable Soul Parking to expand its services across high-density cities, enhance its product offerings, recruit new talent, and strengthen marketing efforts. The company aims to increase brand visibility and accelerate user growth.
“The completion of this funding round underscores the strong fundamentals of our business and the resilience of our team. It also highlights the immense potential in the parking industry,” said Kenneth Darmansjah, CEO and Co-Founder of Soul Parking, in an official statement on Monday, January 6, 2025.
Currently, Soul Parking is not only focusing on urban expansion but is also exploring opportunities in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. Plans include developing nationwide EV charging stations and battery storage solutions for electric motorcycles.
Since its establishment, the startup has forged partnerships with over 100 stakeholders, including property owners, property management companies, and supporting businesses. Soul Parking’s services cater to a wide range of properties, from apartments and hospitals to commercial centers, recreational areas, and residential complexes.
The company processes more than 20 million transactions annually, a testament to its growing user base. Its technology-driven approach includes a mobile app that provides parking information for both motorcycles and cars. Parking spaces managed by Soul Parking are equipped with CCTV surveillance and insurance coverage, ensuring security and reliability for users.
In May 2024, Soul Parking collaborated with PT Integrasi Transit Jakarta (ITJ) to develop parking spaces in transit-oriented development (TOD) areas, beginning with a project in Kebon Kacang, part of the Bundaran HI TOD zone. This initiative aligns with the company’s vision to enhance urban mobility through innovative parking solutions.
