PT Pembiayaan Digital Indonesia, known as AdaKami, has announced a strategic collaboration with PT Super Bank Indonesia (Superbank) to channel quality funding to a broader segment of the Indonesian population. This partnership marks a significant step for both companies in enhancing access to financial resources across the country.
Currently, AdaKami's peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform is also collaborating with various lending partners from the banking sector, including Seabank, Bank Jago, Bank Permata, Hana Bank, Bank Ganesha, and Bank OCBC. Bernardino Moningka Vega, the President Director of AdaKami, expressed optimism regarding this collaboration, stating that it aims to provide quality funding to more individuals in need. "This partnership allows us to help people achieve their dreams, particularly those facing challenges in accessing healthy funding to support their businesses or other value-added activities quickly," Bernardino explained in an official statement on October 31, 2024.
To ensure the effective distribution of quality funding, AdaKami is leveraging advanced technologies, including electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) processes. Bernardino emphasized the importance of financial literacy education, which AdaKami actively promotes to improve financial awareness among Indonesians. "We believe that strengthening financial literacy is a crucial component in building a healthy financial ecosystem for providers, regulators, and the community alike," he added.
Through ongoing financial literacy initiatives, AdaKami aims to raise awareness about individuals' rights and responsibilities, as well as the risks and benefits associated with utilizing available financial instruments. "Our shared vision of expanding financial service access to a broader range of Indonesians sets a solid foundation for this collaboration. We hope that the quality funding generated from this partnership will optimally benefit the community in achieving their financial goals," Bernardino concluded.
On the other hand, Sukiwan, Chief Business Officer of Superbank, highlighted that their shared vision of providing easily accessible quality funding to support financial inclusion was the basis for partnering with AdaKami. "This collaboration aims to strengthen efforts to expand the utilization of inclusive financial services and simplify funding access for all Indonesians," Sukiwan stated. He noted that AdaKami’s consistent growth in funding distribution, coupled with a loan performance indicator of 99.96% as of September 2024—well above the minimum standard set by the Financial Services Authority (OJK)—played a crucial role in selecting them as a strategic partner.
