Livin’ by Mandiri has expanded its services to provide investment and financing solutions for customers’ financial goals as the digital banking platform marks nearly five years of operation (01/10).
The platform had 42.1 million registered users as of August 2026, while nine out of 10 new Bank Mandiri customers now open their accounts directly through Livin’.
Customers using Livin’ also contribute 89 percent of the bank’s total savings balance. The platform continues to develop wealth-management and financing solutions under the “Tumbuh Bersama Majukan Indonesia” spirit.
Livin’ by Mandiri Expands Beyond Banking Transactions
Bank Mandiri Senior Vice President of Digital Retail Banking Yanto Masyap said customer needs have changed during nearly five years of Livin’ by Mandiri.
“Over the past nearly five years, we have seen changes in customer needs, which initially focused on transaction convenience and have now moved toward asset management and finding financing solutions that are most beneficial for customers,” Yanto said.
According to Yanto, investment is often viewed as something that can only be done when customers have excess funds, while financing is considered when customers do not have assets. Livin’ is now connecting the two through its latest services.
“Livin’'s innovations now make it not only easy for customers to invest, but also allow them to use their investment assets as a solution to obtain financing that supports various financial goals,” he said.
Investment Assets Can Be Used as Loan Collateral
Customers can use Primary SBN and Secondary SBN that they already own as collateral when applying for credit. This allows customers who need additional funds to obtain financing without liquidating their investments.
The investment instruments can continue to operate and generate returns while being used as collateral. Deposits owned by customers can also be used as cash collateral.
Applications for SBN-backed loans and deposit-backed loans can be made through Livin’. The process does not require customers to contact branch employees or request additional documents.
Livin’ KPR Offers Property Financing Options
Livin’ also provides financing solutions for customers who want to purchase property through Livin’ KPR.
Customers can search for new homes from top developers through the catalog available on Livin’. They can also apply for credit to purchase second-hand homes.
Livin’ KPR provides more than a general mortgage calculator that estimates installments using different assumptions. The service checks a customer’s financing capacity in detail, allowing the mortgage simulation result to become a credit offer.
After purchasing a home, customers can also obtain cash financing by using their property as collateral.
Livin’ Integrates Multiple Investment Instruments
Livin’ integrates several investment instruments so customers can manage their investments without moving between different platforms.
“Livin’ has integrated various investment instruments, so customers do not need to switch platforms. Customers can start investing in Mutual Funds with very affordable capital starting from Rp10,000, participate in state funding through Primary SBN and Secondary SBN instruments, and conduct stock transactions,” Yanto said.
The investment instruments are integrated into the Livin’ portfolio, allowing customers to monitor and manage their wealth in one place.
The development of Livin’ by Mandiri comes ahead of Bank Mandiri’s 28th anniversary on Oct. 2, 2026. As part of the Danantara ecosystem, Bank Mandiri is continuing the development of Livin’ to provide financial experiences that are increasingly relevant to customers.
“Technology innovation that we bring to Livin’ is not merely about the sophistication of the system, but about how we can provide real impact. We are committed to continuing to be an adaptive financial partner, accompanying customers through every phase of their lives so that we can continue to grow together and realize a better financial future. Look forward to various innovations that we will soon present,” Yanto said.
