Grab Completes 2026 Holiday Bonus Distribution to More Than 400,000 Driver Partners

Grab Indonesia has completed the distribution of its 2026 Holiday Bonus, or Bonus Hari Raya (BHR), to more than 400,000 eligible driver partners, with OVO Cash as the main payment channel (09/03).

The 2026 BHR program is part of Grab Untuk Indonesia: Support for Driver Partners in Three Acts, with BHR as the second act under the theme “Giving Meaning.” Together with the BERKAH, or Berangkat Umrah, program, the initiative is part of Grab’s support for driver partners ahead of Idulfitri 2026.

The distribution also followed the direction of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, which was announced on March 3, 2026, by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Manpower Minister Yassierli, Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, Investment and Downstreaming Minister and BKPM Head as well as Danantara CEO Rosan Roeslani, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya during a press conference on the 2026 holiday allowance, BHR, and Ramadan stimulus policies.

Grab Doubles BHR Budget to Rp110 Billion

Grab doubled its BHR 2026 budget allocation to Rp100 billion-Rp110 billion. The company said the increase strengthens the program and expands its benefits for active and productive driver partners on the platform.

Grab also revised the payment amounts across recipient categories. For two-wheel driver partners, BHR ranges from Rp150,000 to Rp850,000, while four-wheel driver partners receive between Rp200,000 and Rp1.6 million.

The lowest GrabBike payment increased threefold to Rp150,000. The program has seven categories for each two-wheel and four-wheel segment, with the structure based on driver productivity and activity during the assessment period.

BHR Payments Based on Driver Performance

Grab classifies BHR recipients into Jawara, Kesatria, Pejuang, and Anggota categories. Two-wheel driver partners in the Anggota category receive Rp150,000, while four-wheel driver partners receive Rp200,000, an increase of two to three times from the previous year.

At the highest level, Jawara two-wheel driver partners can receive up to Rp850,000, while Jawara four-wheel driver partners can receive up to Rp1.6 million.

The amount depends on consistent performance during the previous 12 months.

To determine recipients, Grab considers driver activity, completed orders, order completion rates, the number of days and hours online, driver ratings, and compliance with Grab’s service standards and Code of Ethics.

Grab said this performance-based approach is intended to ensure that BHR is distributed objectively, proportionally, and to driver partners who actively contribute to service quality within the Grab ecosystem.

Neneng Goenadi, Chief Executive Officer of Grab Indonesia, said, “We are grateful to be able to continue growing together with our Driver Partners who every day maintain service quality and customer trust in the field. Through BHR 2026, we want to provide appreciation that is truly felt, has a direct impact, and is received on time by partners who have demonstrated good performance and real contributions to the Grab ecosystem, while still considering the company’s capabilities. We are implementing this program responsibly while continuing to pay attention to the sustainability of the ecosystem, so that Grab can continue to be present in supporting Driver Partners in the long term.”

“For Grab, BHR is not only financial support ahead of the holiday, but also a sincere expression of appreciation and the spirit of togetherness that we build together with Driver Partners. Therefore, we are presenting BHR 2026 as part of Grab Untuk Indonesia: Support for Driver Partners in Three Acts, so that its benefits are not only large in nominal terms, but also truly meaningful for partners and their families,” Neneng added.

Driver Partners Receive BHR Ahead of Idulfitri

Indra, a GrabBike driver partner in South Tangerang, said he received Rp850,000 under the Jawara category.

“Today I received a surprise from Grab in the form of BHR with the Jawara tier of Rp850,000. I would like to thank Grab and President Prabowo. I will use this BHR for Idulfitri holiday needs,” Indra said.

Muhammad Iqbal Anas, a GrabCar driver partner in Makassar, received Rp1.6 million.

“I would like to thank Grab for distributing BHR of Rp1.6 million. This amount is very helpful for family needs ahead of the holiday,” he said.

Nur Siti Aisyah, a GrabBike driver partner in Tangerang, received Rp350,000.

“Alhamdulillah, today my BHR has been disbursed and I received Rp350,000 from Grab. I will use this BHR for holiday needs,” she said.

OVO Cash Serves as the Main BHR Distribution Channel

Grab used OVO Cash as the main channel for driver partners who already had an OVO account with the same mobile phone number registered in the GrabDriver application.

Grab said this approach allowed the distribution to be completed while maintaining convenient access for recipients.

The company also said the program was not only about the payment amount, but also about ensuring that the appreciation reached recipients.

Clear criteria, timely payment, and an accessible distribution channel were considered important for driver partners ahead of the holiday.

Grab said BHR 2026 is part of its continued support for driver partners and its efforts to support a fair, inclusive, and sustainable digital economy ecosystem in Indonesia. The BHR distribution was fully completed on March 9, 2026.
