Telkom Indonesia Data Centre Sale: Majority Stake in NeutraDC Could Fetch Up to $1.5 Billion

PT Telkom Indonesia is restarting plans to sell a stake in its data centre business to attract growing interest in digital infrastructure (16/02).

The Jakarta-listed company is working with financial advisers on a possible sale of a majority holding in NeutraDC, according to people familiar with the matter who requested anonymity. The deliberations are ongoing, and there is no certainty of a sale.

Telkom Indonesia had previously considered selling a minority stake in 2022, the sources said.

The company is seeking a valuation of US$1 billion to US$1.5 billion for NeutraDC, the sources added.

NeutraDC owns 29 data centres, including a hyperscale facility in Jakarta, according to its website.

Telkom Indonesia’s shares have increased about 30% over the past 12 months, giving the company a market value of US$20.3 billion.
