Indonesia’s Rocket Day 2025 Marks Graduation of 37 Brands and Expands Support for IPO-Ready Entrepreneurs

Rocket You(th)preneurs officially closed its annual incubation and acceleration cycle through Rocket Day 2025 – Graduation & Awarding Ceremony, marking the completion of a one-year business development program conducted by Sandination Academy and the Indonesia Setara Foundation (11/12).

From 250 participating brands, 37 were selected as top performers, completing all phases from Rocket-Ignition, Lift-Off, Boost, to Orbit.

Program Records Strong Business Connect and Expands Social Impact

This year’s program achieved a business connect value of Rp 4.17 billion, showing strong interest from partners and investors.

The initiative also generated social impact by opening new job opportunities for hundreds of young workers and supporting business growth in creative industries, education, environment, digital sectors, health, and community-based MSMEs.

Participants advanced small, informal enterprises into formal and sustainable businesses.

The program strengthened empowerment for students, university communities, women, local groups, and grassroots MSMEs through collaboration, producing innovative products and services with digitalization, environmental sustainability, and technology.

Initiative Focuses on Preparing Young Founders for IPO Readiness

One of the main priorities of Rocket You(th)preneurs this year was to prepare young Indonesian founders to progress toward IPO (Initial Public Offering) readiness.

Through curriculum, mentoring, business coaching, financial literacy, and governance strengthening, participants were guided to build businesses that can grow and meet public-company standards.

Sandiaga S. Uno, Founder of the Indonesia Setara Foundation and Sandination Academy, stated, “We want Indonesia to have more young entrepreneurs ready to enter the global market and even the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This year, the 37 best brands that emerged are not only ready to scale up, but also prepared as IPO-ready founders. This is our real contribution to the nation’s future economy.”

Partnerships Support Governance, Capital Market Access, and Pre-IPO Guidance

To strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Sandination Academy and the Indonesia Setara Foundation collaborated with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) and TICMI.

The cooperation includes IPO readiness training, capital market education, pre-IPO guidance, access to investment institutions and strategic partners, and governance enhancement.

Rocket Day 2025 was also attended by national figures, including BEI Development Director Jeffery Hendrik, Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman, and Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono.

The program is led by Erna Usman as Executive Director of the Indonesia Setara Foundation and Reni Fitriani as Founder & Program Director of Sandination Academy, who reiterated their commitment to shaping resilient young entrepreneurs for national and global markets.

Awardees Receive Business Capital and Global Exposure Opportunity

Outstanding participants from each Rocket level received business capital and the opportunity to join the STRON global exposure program in China.

Through this experience, they will take part in international conferences, global pitching sessions, and expanded business networking as steps toward becoming global-ready and IPO-ready.
