The fifth edition of the BCA UMKM Fest 2025 recorded a significant rise in sales and transactions, reflecting strong confidence among Indonesia’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) (13/08). The event was held online from 1 July to 17 August and offline from 13 to 17 August, with approximately 1,500 MSMEs participating.
Total sales increased by 19% year-on-year, reaching Rp20.3 billion. Transactions across both online and offline channels reached 134,235, representing a 54.1% rise compared to the previous year. The results highlight the resilience and growth potential of Indonesian MSMEs.
MSME Participation Shows Confidence and Growth
Hera F. Haryn, EVP of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility at BCA, said, “The BCA UMKM Fest 2025 shows that the synergy between banking, technology, and the creativity of MSMEs can yield significant economic impact. This year’s results reaffirm that with the right support, MSMEs can unlock remarkable potential. We remain committed to facilitating their continued growth.”
The hybrid format effectively expanded market access. The BCA UMKM Fest website, supported by Grab Indonesia and Blibli.com, drew over 3 million visitors, a 30% increase from the previous year.
Popular Product Categories and Hybrid Event Impact
The most popular product categories among visitors were food and beverages, health and beauty, and fashion. The combination of online and offline platforms successfully boosted sales and widened market exposure for MSME products.
Offline activities were conducted at Gandaria City Mall and across 34 BCA Main Branch Offices (KCU) nationwide. At the offline venue, a Bakti BCA booth displayed products from villages supported by BCA under the BCA Bangga Lokal program.
Merchant Appreciation Program Highlights Top Performers
BCA introduced the Merchant Appreciation Program to recognize MSMEs with outstanding online sales performance. The five awardees were Kalimantan Mas, Cuit Baby Wear, Madu Dhatu, Adorable Projects, and Alt.
The program demonstrates BCA’s effort to support MSMEs in expanding their markets and enhancing competitiveness.
BCA’s Ongoing Support for MSMEs
BCA continues to support MSMEs through initiatives such as BCA UMKM Go Export, halal certification workshops, and BCA Bangga Lokal. As of September 2025, the bank had disbursed Rp129.3 trillion in credit to MSMEs, a 7.7% increase year-on-year.
“We are grateful for the positive response from MSME players and BCA UMKM Fest 2025’s visitors.
