Telkomsel Ventures, through its Telkomsel Innovation Center (TINC) in collaboration with AppWorks, successfully held the TINC Demo Day Batch X to support startup innovation.
CEO of Telkomsel Ventures, Mia Melinda, said the event, held on Thursday (23/10) in Jakarta, was the peak of the accelerator program. It showcased proof-of-concept (PoC) developments from six selected startups that had collaborated intensively with Telkomsel since the TINC Pitching Day in June 2025.
“Each startup has demonstrated outstanding commitment in developing solutions that are not only innovative but also relevant to market needs,” Mia said.
TINC provides a collaborative space where corporations and startups can work together to create digital solutions relevant to Indonesia.
Six Startups Present Innovative Solutions
At Demo Day, TINC Batch X startups presented their solutions for potential integration into Telkomsel’s ecosystem, aiming to receive business and technical support and expand strategic collaborations.
The six startups included:
- Cavos: Voice AI for contact centers
- LuarKampus.id: Platform for scholarships and career development
- Truely: Smart eSIM for travelers
- 3T GDS Technology Inc.: B2B platform for cross-border digital e-vouchers
- Peris.ai: Cybersecurity hyperautonomous solutions using agentic AI
- SmartRetail: Offline touchpoint optimization using AI-based audience measurement and rewards
These startups were selected from 12 participants during the previous TINC Pitching Day.
Regional Startups Join the Program
AppWorks also presented six regional startups ready to expand in Indonesia: Gapai (Indonesia), Farmio (Singapore), Momofin (Indonesia), Trainge (Taiwan), Tokban (Indonesia), and Alpha Story (Singapore).
Jamie Lin, Partner at AppWorks, said the partnership with TINC focuses on accelerating regional innovation. She noted that Batch X shows the impact when high-potential startups, corporations, and regional telcos work together to support sustainable growth in Southeast Asia.
Strategic Partnerships Highlight Business Opportunities
Demo Day featured strategic collaborations, including the signing of a service agreement between Telkomsel Enterprise and SiCepat Ekspres for a dedicated Telkomsel package supporting courier productivity.
Collaboration with corporate partners like Astra Digital Internasional (ADI) also aims to extend cross-industry reach and support digital innovation in Indonesia.
The event included a panel discussion with R Samuel Ryan PP (MRT Jakarta), I Wayan Wisnu Anantawijaya (Astra), and Jockie Heruseon (Telkomsel), sharing insights on trends and collaboration opportunities in the digital ecosystem.
TINC’s Ongoing Support for Digital Innovation
Telkomsel Ventures and AppWorks will continue deepening collaboration to strengthen future TINC programs and scale Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem.
TINC, launched in 2018, focuses on developing digital solutions using IoT, Big Data, AI, Machine Learning, 5G, and Fintech technologies. Although TINC does not provide direct funding, startups showing potential through PoC may access Telkomsel Ventures’ investor network and strategic partners, offering opportunities for commercialization.
