PT Indointernet Tbk, or Indonet (EDGE), injected IDR 150 billion into its subsidiary, PT Digital Gayana Ekagrata (DGE). The move aims to strengthen its data center business centered in Jakarta.
“The capital increase in the company’s subsidiary, PT DGE, is intended for capital expenditure purposes,” said Indonet Director and Corporate Secretary, Donauly Elena Situmorang, through an official disclosure on Thursday (October 23, 2025).
The transaction is categorized as an affiliated transaction since DGE is a controlled subsidiary of Indonet. However, it does not fall under the material transaction category in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No. 17/2020.
DGE operates Indonet’s first data center, EDGE1, which was inaugurated in October 2021. The facility, located in central Jakarta, has a total capacity of 6 megawatts (MW). It consists of eight floors, including five data hall levels capable of accommodating up to 1,300 racks.
Currently, the company is focusing on the construction of its second data center, EDGE2. The project forms part of Indonet’s expansion strategy to strengthen its position as a provider of reliable and internationally standardized digital infrastructure services.
The construction progress of EDGE2 has reached 92 percent. The facility, with a designed capacity of 23 MW, is targeted for completion in 2026.
On October 6, 2025, Indonet secured a loan facility worth IDR 5.5 trillion from PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA). The loan will be used to refinance existing debts, finance the EDGE2 project, and support general corporate purposes.
