PT Pertamina (Persero), through the Pertamina Foundation, successfully held the Pertamina SMEXPO Regional Yogyakarta 2025 at Plaza Ngasem on 26–28 October 2025. The event involved 35 Pertamina-assisted Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) and recorded transactions exceeding Rp2 billion from both retail and business-to-business (B2B) sales.
Rp2 Billion in Transactions Mark Strong Market Response
Vice President Corporate Communication PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso, stated that Pertamina SMEXPO reflects Pertamina’s real commitment to supporting UMKM in scaling up and reaching international markets.
“Pertamina continues to provide space for UMKM to grow, including through the SMEXPO event. The achievement of more than Rp2 billion in transactions and the involvement of buyers from abroad proves that Pertamina-assisted UMKM are globally competitive,” said Fadjar.
A total of 35 UMKM joined the exhibition and succeeded in entering international markets. B2B buyers came from Turkey, France, Japan, Portugal, and London, while domestic buyers included hotel businesses and batik entrepreneurs.
Global Buyers Secure Long-Term Commitments With Local UMKM
The event also strengthened business matchmaking to encourage sustainable business development through long-term sales commitments and expanded business networks both domestically and internationally.

Pertamina Foundation's Mentorship Strengthens UMKM Capacity
President Director of Pertamina Foundation, Agus Mashud S. Asngari, said the success of SMEXPO Yogyakarta was the result of Pertamina's consistent annual UMKM mentorship programs.
“This achievement is clear proof of the Pertamina Group’s success in mentoring UMKM, from strengthening their entrepreneurial foundation to preparing them for export markets through programs such as PFpreneur, UMK Academy, and Pertapreneur Aggregator,” explained Agus.
SMEXPO aligns with the Prabowo–Gibran Administration’s Asta Cita agenda, especially the third point: improving quality employment, promoting entrepreneurship, developing the creative industry, and continuing infrastructure development.
