The Ultra Micro (UMi) Holding, composed of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk as the lead institution, together with PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) and PT Pegadaian, continues to deliver tangible benefits to micro entrepreneurs throughout Indonesia.
By the end of March 2025, this synergy had reached 35.4 million loan customers with total financing of IDR 631.4 trillion. In the same period, savings account customers exceeded 182 million.
This performance reflects alignment with the Government of Indonesia’s Asta Cita, specifically the third goal of expanding quality employment and entrepreneurship, and the sixth goal of achieving economic equity and poverty reduction.
Improving Access Through Collaboration and Integration
Agustya Hendy Bernadi, Corporate Secretary of BRI, stated that the collaboration across the three entities ensures that micro businesses across the country can more easily, quickly, and affordably access financial services.
"The Ultra Micro Holding does not only provide capital access, but also supports micro entrepreneurs through financial literacy education, entrepreneurship training, and sustainable empowerment programs so they can advance and strengthen their business competitiveness," said Hendy.
Digital Expansion via SenyuM Mobile Platform
As part of its concrete strategy, the holding utilizes digital tools like SenyuM Mobile to reach deeper into underserved areas.
From its 2021 launch through the first quarter of 2025, the platform has accelerated productivity and access, with more than 4.46 million successful customer referrals.
Commitment to ESG-Aligned Empowerment
The empowerment initiatives carried out by the Ultra Micro Holding follow Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, which serve as the foundation for responsible and sustainable business across the BRI Group.
"With a more solid and inclusive ecosystem, the Ultra Micro Holding remains optimistic in being a catalyst for national economic growth based on community empowerment," Hendy added.
