BCA Leadership Reshuffle: Jahja Setiaatmadja Becomes President Commissioner, Hendra Lembong Takes Over as CEO

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) will hold its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) on March 12, 2025. One of the key agenda items is a leadership transition, including appointing a new President Director.

According to BCA’s official AGMS announcement, Jahja Setiaatmadja has been nominated as President Commissioner, replacing Djohan Emir Setijoso, who has resigned. Jahja has served as BCA’s President Director since 2011 and has been with the bank for over three decades, including roles as Vice President Director (2005-2011) and Director (1999-2005).

To replace Jahja, BCA has proposed Gregory Hendra Lembong as the new President Director. Gregory currently serves as Vice President Director, a position he has held since 2022. He is responsible for overseeing strategic IT operations and banking transaction strategies. In addition, John Kosasih has been nominated as Vice President Director, while Hendra Tanumihardja is set to become a Director.

"The proposed changes are as follows: accepting the resignation of Mr. Djohan Emir Setijoso as President Commissioner, appointing Mr. Jahja Setiaatmadja as President Commissioner, and appointing Mr. Gregory Hendra Lembong as President Director," the official statement reads.

Beyond leadership changes, BCA's AGMS will also cover other critical matters. Shareholders will be asked to approve the 2024 annual report and financial statements. The agenda also includes decisions on net profit allocation, including cash dividends, reserve funds, and retained earnings.

Additionally, the meeting will discuss compensation policies, including salaries, benefits, and bonuses for the Board of Directors and Commissioners. Investors and stakeholders will closely monitor how these leadership changes will influence BCA’s future strategies and business direction.
