BytePlus Unveils ModelArk and Seed AI Tools to Accelerate Business Growth in Indonesia

BytePlus introduced a range of artificial intelligence solutions aimed at supporting digital transformation across multiple sectors in Indonesia. The solutions target industries such as e-commerce, digital-native companies, media, and the public sector.

At BytePlus AI Day Indonesia 2026 in Jakarta, the company emphasized its role in enabling faster and more effective AI adoption for enterprises.

High AI Adoption in Indonesia but Low Business Impact

According to BytePlus Regional Lead for Indonesia and Malaysia Leon Chen, AI adoption in Indonesia has reached 96 percent. However, only 12 percent of that adoption translates into measurable business impact.

Leon Chen stated that BytePlus is committed to accelerating meaningful AI implementation in line with Indonesia’s national agenda to improve productivity and economic value creation. He highlighted AI as a catalyst for sustainable growth and innovation.

ModelArk and Seed Models Drive Enterprise AI Integration

BytePlus showcased its BytePlus ModelArk platform, designed for large language models (LLMs), enabling developers to select and integrate multiple models for applications such as intelligent chatbots and personalized content systems.

The company also introduced its Seed model ecosystem, including Dola Seed 2.0 for reasoning capabilities, Dreamina Seedance 2.0 for dynamic video generation, and Dola Seedream 5.0 for advanced image generation from natural language input.

These tools are positioned to support both enterprises and public service providers in building integrated digital experiences on ready-to-use infrastructure.

Transjakarta and Volantis Showcase Real-World AI Impact

Transjakarta has implemented BytePlus AI-powered chatbot services to improve passenger experience. The system allows users to access route and schedule information through natural language interactions.

According to Transjakarta Director of Information Technology Systems and Services Raditya Maulana Rusdi, the chatbot has reduced customer response handling time by 93.82 percent across platforms, enabling simultaneous handling of large volumes of inquiries even during peak hours.

Meanwhile, Volantis Technology is using BytePlus ModelArk with the Seed 1.8 Pro model to unify fragmented data into AI-ready solutions. Co-Founder and CTO Habib Rosyad noted that this approach improves multi-step automation and content curation while reducing operational costs compared to premium model alternatives.

AI as a Strategic Growth Driver for Indonesian Enterprises

BytePlus reaffirmed that AI adoption in Indonesia is not merely a technological shift but a strategic driver for business growth. The company emphasized its role in helping organizations improve customer experience and strengthen competitiveness amid rapidly changing market conditions.

Leon Chen reiterated that AI serves as a foundation for continuous innovation across enterprises and public services in Indonesia.
