PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) is participating again in the Garuda Umrah Travel Fair (GUTF) 2026 to support global halal tourism, with events scheduled in Jakarta, Makassar, and Surabaya (24/01).

The Jakarta event will be held at Mall Atrium Kota Kasablanka on 30 January–1 February 2026, followed by Makassar at Mall Ratu Indah and Surabaya at Pakuwon City Mall on 6–8 February 2026.

Dozens of Umrah Travel Partners Join GUTF 2026

The event involves 38 hajj and umrah travel partners, including Arminareka, Tazkia, NRA, Magfirah, Patuna, ESQ, Dream Tour, and Aerohajj, as well as other umrah travel agencies.

BSI’s participation aims to support the domestic halal industry and provide easier access for the public to enjoy halal travel comfortably and conveniently with Bank Syariah Indonesia.

Discounts and Installment Programs Offered by BSI

As the official partner of GUTF 2026, BSI is offering discounts of up to Rp7.5 million and 0% installment plans for up to 24 months using the BSI Hasanah Card.

BSI is also providing discounts of up to Rp1 million for transactions using BSI Visa Debit, along with special event packages offering discounts of up to Rp7.5 million using BSI Hasanah Card and BSI Visa Debit.

Additional Banking Benefits Available During the Event

During the event, customers applying for a BSI Hasanah Card can receive Free Annual Fee benefits for up to five years.

Other offers include a welcome bonus of up to Rp500,000 and access to Mitraguna Online payroll-based financing facilities of up to Rp300 million through the BYOND by BSI service.

BSI and Garuda Indonesia Statements at GUTF 2026

Director of Retail Banking of Bank Syariah Indonesia, Kemas Erwan Husainy, said, “Bank Syariah Indonesia strives to contribute to the global Muslim tourism industry, including umrah and halal tourism. We note that at least more than 1.6 million Indonesians perform umrah each year. Therefore, we are ready to accompany prospective pilgrims so they can travel safely, easily, and comfortably.”

He added that during GUTF 2026, BSI plans to introduce a new Hasanah Card design with contactless features to provide a new experience for customers.

Meanwhile, Garuda Indonesia is offering umrah and hajj plus travel packages, as well as group booking flight tickets, starting from Rp14.1 million for economy class and Rp34.1 million for business class for round-trip Jeddah routes, with travel periods up to January 2027.

Director of Commerce of Garuda Indonesia, Reza Aulia Hakim, stated, “In line with the growing enthusiasm of Indonesian Muslims to perform pilgrimage to the Holy Land, the presence of GUTF from year to year is expected to provide sustainable added value for Indonesian Muslim communities, who are also loyal customers of Garuda Indonesia, in optimizing early preparation for their worship.”
