Bank Mandiri's Commitment to Distribute Rp55 Trillion SAL Across Priority Sectors

Bank Mandiri welcomes and fully supports the Government's move to boost the national economy by placing Rp55 trillion of Saldo Anggaran Lebih (SAL) funds, as outlined in the Ministry of Finance Decree No. 276 of 2025.

This placement is part of a collaborative strategy involving state-owned banks (Himbara) to maintain strong banking liquidity, strengthen strategic synergy in real sector financing, and create new job opportunities.

Increased Liquidity Expands Bank Mandiri’s Financing Capacity for Priority Sectors

Novita Widya Anggraini, Director of Finance & Strategy at Bank Mandiri, states that the additional liquidity provides greater room for the company to channel credit into priority sectors supporting national development agendas.

“With an additional Rp55 trillion, our financing capacity is stronger to support productive sectors that increase export competitiveness and expand employment, while also strengthening the people's economy,” she said.

Focused Financing on Strategic Sectors to Drive Sustainable Growth

Bank Mandiri commits to channeling financing into strategic sectors such as plantations and food security, downstream natural resources and renewable energy, infrastructure, healthcare services, manufacturing, industrial estates, and MSMEs. These sectors are crucial for driving sustainable economic growth.

High Demand in Real Sector Financing Reflects Positive Market Potential

Bank Mandiri, on a bank-only basis, reports average credit disbursement for new customers at Rp24.63 trillion from a total Rp45 trillion monthly, indicating strong demand and growth potential in the real sector amid government policy support.

Substantial Portfolio Allocation to Export-Oriented and Labor-Intensive Sectors

To date, Bank Mandiri has disbursed Rp960.2 trillion in financing to export-oriented and labor-intensive real sectors, representing 71.88% of its total portfolio.

This achievement underscores Bank Mandiri’s role as a development agent and government partner in accelerating inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Commitment to Prudence and Transparency in Financing Operations

Novita emphasizes that all financing activities are conducted with prudence and transparent reporting, in line with regulations.

“With this Rp55 trillion support, we are optimistic about strengthening intermediation functions, increasing financing capacity, and enhancing contributions to national strategic projects,” she concluded.
