Former eFishery Executives Detained for Alleged Rp 15 Billion Investment Fraud in Aquaculture Startup

Bareskrim Polri has detained three former executives of the aquaculture startup eFishery, suspected of embezzling investment funds totaling Rp 15 billion.

The Directorate of Special Economic Crimes (Dittipideksus) at Bareskrim Polri arrested the suspects for allegedly inflating the investment values that entered PT eFishery.

Brigjen Pol. Helfi Assegaf said, “The three are suspected of jointly committing fraud and embezzlement by marking up the investment value.”

The investigation has confirmed initial losses of Rp 15 billion, with further examination ongoing. “That is the initial amount; we are still deepening the investigation,” he stated.

The suspects are:

  • Gibran Chuzaefah Amsi El Farizy, former CEO of eFishery
  • Angga Hardian Raditya, former Vice President of eFishery
  • Andri Yadi, former Vice President of Financing for Aquaculture at eFishery

Brigjen Helfi confirmed the detention started on Thursday, July 31, 2025. He noted that details cannot yet be disclosed because the investigation is still underway.
