Can Anyone Build Apps Now? This Indonesian Startup Says Yes with Its AI App Builder Platform

Quantum Teknologi Nusantara (QTN), a local Indonesian startup, has emerged as a key player in the AI development landscape through its platform, QuantumByte.

Designed as an AI app builder for enterprise use, the technology serves as the core infrastructure behind Polri SuperApp a national police platform with over 5 million active users.

This makes QuantumByte one of the most operationally validated platforms in its category, both in terms of security and scalability.

“We don’t build technology for demos,” said Kevin Daniel Pantasdo, CEO of QTN.

“We build to solve real problems, with thousands of users and needs that change daily”.

Expanding from Enterprise to Everyday Use

Originally launched in 2022 with a B2B focus, QuantumByte is now being adapted for wider accessibility. QTN is extending the platform to support small businesses, local communities, educational institutions, and creative individuals.

By using a prompt-based interface with low-code functionality, users can build applications by simply describing their needs in natural language.

This shift reflects QTN’s goal to democratize technology that was once only accessible to large corporations.

“Our strength is not only in the technology itself,” Kevin said.

“It’s in the modular architecture that underpins everything. Like building with LEGO, each feature can be developed, integrated, or replaced without starting from scratch”.

Global Collaboration with No Investor Backing

QTN’s platform has attracted international attention. It has been used in AI forecasting with Volkswagen for energy price optimization in Singapore, partnered with fashion brand Melengo across the U.S., Southeast Asia, and Latin America, and supported autonomous aircraft systems in the RAIN Aero project.

Remarkably, all of this has been achieved without external funding. While many startups rely on investor capital to grow, QTN has remained bootstrapped and doubled its growth even during difficult economic periods.

AI App Builder That Delivers at Scale

As AI-driven development platforms grow in popularity, many remain limited to basic prototyping. In contrast, QuantumByte stands out for its real-world deployment in systems that manage sensitive, high-volume data.

This distinguishes it from other global offerings still in experimental stages.

“We’re not afraid to compete with global brands,” Kevin stated.

“We’ve already proven we can transform the big and complex. Now it’s time to bring this technology to more hands. It’s not just about efficiency, it’s about unlocking potential”.
