PT JULO Teknologi Finansial (JULO) provided funding to over 3.2 million users during the first quarter of 2025.
This accomplishment was reached amid Indonesia’s ongoing economic challenges, supported by JULO’s comprehensive risk mitigation strategies and system development.
“We prioritize prudence in loan disbursement while ensuring that the solutions we offer align with each user’s financial capacity,” said Harri Suhendra, President Director of JULO, on Monday (2/6).
Field Collection Expansion Drives 56% Growth in Repayments
To enhance collection performance, JULO increased its number of field collection agents by 48%.
This expansion significantly improved repayment rates, resulting in a 56% increase compared to the previous quarter.
Harri stated that JULO's collection process continues to follow ethical standards as outlined by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesian Joint Funding Fintech Association (AFPI).
Machine Learning and Data Integration Reinforce Underwriting
JULO uses machine learning to analyze user behavior more accurately in its underwriting process.
The company is integrated with the Fintech Data Center (FDC) and the Civil Registry (Dukcapil), which supports identity verification and fraud detection.
This approach enables JULO to maintain its non-performing loan (NPL) ratio below the threshold set by OJK.
Flexible Credit Terms and Proactive Payment Reminders
JULO offers credit limits of up to IDR 50 million with repayment tenors of up to 12 months.
The interest rate remains below the maximum limit allowed by OJK.
A comprehensive payment reminder system is implemented to help users manage their finances and avoid late fees.
Digital Partnerships Expand Financial Service Accessibility
JULO’s partnerships with digital platforms such as Grab and DANA have extended the company’s reach in Indonesia.
These collaborations support JULO’s commitment to responsible financial inclusion.
“As an AFPI member, we maintain active communication with regulators and support OJK policies to ensure industry stability,” Harri added.
