Samsung Electronics is set to feature innovative projects from its C-Lab program at CES 2025 in Las Vegas from January 7 to 10. With a focus on artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), digital health, and robotics, C-Lab startups aim to make a global impact in technology.
The showcase will include 15 startups—12 from the C-Lab Outside program supporting external entrepreneurs, two internal projects from C-Lab Inside, and one spin-off startup. These companies will display their innovations at the Venetian Expo’s Eureka Park, a space dedicated to emerging tech companies.
"CES is a crucial stage for Korean startups to elevate their brand and access global markets," stated Pilgyu Jeon, Executive Vice President of Samsung's Creativity & Innovation Center. According to Jeon, the event offers a platform to test ideas and secure partnerships with international investors.
Notable projects include DEEP.FINE’s advanced Vision-AI for spatial mapping, GhostPass’s hands-free authentication system, and LabSD’s ophthalmology solution made from repurposed smartphones. GhostPass, originating from C-Lab Outside Gwangju, received the prestigious Best of Innovation Award in the Fintech category.
Since its creation in 2012, the C-Lab program has supported over 900 startups. This includes 506 projects from external startups through C-Lab Outside and 406 from internal employee ventures in C-Lab Inside. Even after graduation, these startups can continue collaborating with Samsung through the "C-Lab Family" network.
The program also highlights employee innovations, such as GreenFollow, an autonomous golf trolley, and Modulero, a robotics development platform. These projects emphasize Samsung's dedication to fostering innovation both within and outside the company.
