Previously, BTN integrated AI technologies like Big Data and Machine Learning to support business growth and manage risks. Now, the focus has shifted to optimizing its employees, or "BTNers," using AI-driven tools in daily operations.
AI applications include interactive chatbot systems, talent management tools, recruitment enhancements, and the Know Your Employee (KYE) process. For example, AI chatbots enable BTNers to quickly access internal policy information, streamlining workflows and improving productivity.
BTN's CEO, Nixon LP Napitupulu, highlighted the role of AI in creating an adaptable, future-ready workforce. "Technology drives efficiency and prepares our employees for upcoming challenges. AI not only supports our business roadmap but also minimizes internal risks," Nixon explained.
Director of IT, Andi Nirwoto, emphasized that AI integration is part of BTN's ongoing digital transformation. He stated, "Generative AI simplifies routine processes like job postings and career development planning, reducing administrative burdens and allowing employees to focus on strategic tasks."
In addition, BTN's cloud-based system, BTN Best, ensures seamless human capital management from recruitment to retirement. This holistic approach reflects BTN’s commitment to innovation and competitiveness in the national mortgage market.
By adopting AI across its operations, BTN not only enhances internal efficiency but also increases employee satisfaction and industry competitiveness, positioning itself as a leader in Indonesia's banking sector transformation.
