Samsung Electronics has expanded its microSD portfolio by introducing Sonic the Hedgehog-themed PRO Plus cards, combining storage speed and fan-favorite characters. Created in collaboration with SEGA, the lineup features designs of Knuckles (128GB), Tails (256GB), Sonic (512GB), and Shadow (1TB). Prices start at $23.99 and reach $125.99 for the largest capacity.

These A2 microSD cards deliver rapid sequential read speeds of up to 180 MB/s and write speeds up to 130 MB/s, making them ideal for gamers and content creators. With these speeds, users can enjoy seamless gaming experiences and faster transitions between applications. At 1 TB capacity, the cards can store over 47 hours of 4K UHD video, over 437,000 high-quality images, or more than 45 large video games.

Designed with durability in mind, the Sonic PRO Plus microSD cards are waterproof, heat-resistant, and protected against X-rays and magnetic fields. They can survive drops from over 16 feet and endure up to 10,000 insertion and removal cycles, ensuring long-term reliability.
