Six Startups from IPB University Receive Prestigious AIBI Awards for Innovation and Growth in 2025

Science and Techno Park (STP) IPB University received the Outstanding Business Incubator Award from the Indonesian Business Incubator Association (AIBI). The award was presented during the International Seminar of the AABI-IBI Summit 2025, held from October 15 to 16 in Solo, attended by business incubators from across Indonesia and 26 countries in Asia.

STP IPB University’s Commitment to Fostering Innovative Startups

Prof. Erika B Laconi, Head of the Science and Technology Area Institute (LKST) at IPB University, expressed her hopes after receiving the award. She said, “We hope to continuously improve the quality to develop resilient startups based on innovation and creativity.”

Deva Primadia Almada, Assistant for Business Incubation, who also attended, said, “Alhamdulillah STP IPB University received the Outstanding Business Incubator award from AIBI. Thank you, AIBI, we hope this award can further boost our spirit and performance to produce innovative, resilient, and sustainable startups.”

Six IPB University Alumni Startups Honored for Outstanding Performance

Six startups nurtured by IPB University also received awards. Startups Bensfarm, SanGreat, WHI, and Sugeng Jaya earned the Outstanding Startup Award. Sanfood and Planteria were recognized with the Growing Startup Award.

Deva added, “These six startups are alumni of IPB University with cross-disciplinary teams from various faculties and schools.”

The Role of AIBI in Supporting Indonesia’s Startup Ecosystem

AIBI was established in 1996 to support and maintain Indonesia’s entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem. It currently has more than 180 members, including business incubators from higher education, private, and government sectors.

AIBI supports over 12,000 startups nationwide, providing mentorship and necessary resources for their growth.
