PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) continues to strengthen its commitment to expanding national financial inclusion amid rapid digital transformation in the financial sector.

Through a hybrid banking approach that combines digital banking technology with a physical network, BRI utilizes AgenBRILink as the spearhead of financial service transformation across the country.

The service has extended banking access to underserved communities, including remote areas categorized as Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (3T).

1.19 Million Agents Handle 443 Million Transactions in Five Months

From January to May 2025, AgenBRILink recorded 443 million transactions. This volume was supported by 1.19 million agents operating in 67,013 villages throughout Indonesia.

The agents provide access to essential banking services such as cash withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments.

Non-Interest Revenue Reaches IDR 643 Billion

The transactions carried out through AgenBRILink contributed non-interest income (Fee Based Income) of IDR 643 billion for BRI during the same period.

This reflects the growing importance of agent-based services in the bank’s income stream.

BRI Strengthens Digital Systems and Agent Capabilities

BRI President Director Hery Gunardi stated that the strategic role of AgenBRILink is supported by concrete steps to enhance the agency network's foundation and capabilities.

These efforts include improving digital infrastructure and systems to boost transaction reliability, efficiency, and security at the agent level.

“BRI will continue to enrich the range of services offered, so agents can deliver diverse financial solutions to the public. In addition to cash withdrawals, transfers, and bill payments, services such as microinsurance purchases, loan deposits, savings account referrals, and other microfinancial offerings can be accessed through AgenBRILink,” said Hery.
