The MoU was signed at the Executive Lounge of Unpad's Dipati Ukur Campus in Bandung on Wednesday. The collaboration focuses on research and the development of smart technology and smart agriculture technology.

Unpad Vice Rector for Research, Cooperation, and Marketing Prof. Rizky Abdulah, Ph.D., said Indonesia and many countries are facing major challenges caused by climate change and its impacts.
"Currently, Indonesia and many countries are facing major challenges due to climate change and its impacts. One of the main challenges is uncertainty in food security, which has become a global issue," he said.
Prof. Rizky said collaboration with strategic partners is needed to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to respond to global challenges.
He added that the partnership with ProLab Engineering and Smart Agriculture Institute Indonesia is expected to contribute to strengthening research and technology development.

She said partnerships with leading universities such as Unpad are important to produce innovative solutions that meet the needs of the agricultural sector.
"We see great potential to collaborate in various fields. With Unpad's scientific knowledge, we hope to produce solutions that have a real impact on society. One of the initiatives we are preparing is the development of a smart agriculture demonstration park in Pangandaran," she said.
The MoU signing was also attended by leaders from Unpad, including representatives from the Faculty of Agricultural Industrial Technology, the Faculty of Agriculture, and the Directorate of Cooperation and Alumni Partnership. Representatives from Smart Agriculture Institute also attended the event.
