Shares of PT RANS Entertainment Indonesia Tbk (RANS) jumped 34.12% on their first day of trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), reaching the upper auto rejection (ARA) limit after listing at an initial public offering (IPO) price of Rp170 per share (10/07).

RANS issued 2.525 billion new shares, equal to 20.02% of its issued and fully paid-up capital, with an IPO price of Rp170 per share.

The company raised Rp429.25 billion from the IPO. About 37.61%, or Rp161.5 billion, will be allocated to concert organization activities, while 19.80%, or Rp85 billion, will be used to acquire a 51% stake in PT Rans Kosmetika Indonesia.

IPO Funds Allocated to Business Development

The company will also allocate around Rp80 billion to develop the Cipungland entertainment and learning park.

Another Rp35 billion will be invested in an artificial intelligence (AI) joint venture with PT Feedloop Global Teknologi. Meanwhile, Rp29.95 billion will be used to partially repay investment credit facilities, and Rp37.8 billion will strengthen the working capital of PT Rans Nikmat Sejahtera.
