BTN and KAI Tourism Partnership Unveiled to Deliver Premium Banking and Travel Services for Customers

PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has partnered with PT Kereta Api Pariwisata (KAI Wisata) to expand banking services within the tourism transportation sector (09/03). The collaboration, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to enhance customer experience, integrate digital services, and provide premium facilities for BTN clients.

Strategic Collaboration to Enhance Travel and Banking Experience

Rully Setiawan, Director of Network and Retail Funding at BTN, said the MoU represents a key step in developing strategic collaborations. “In the signing event of this MoU, we see various strategic collaboration opportunities that can be developed together,” he stated during the event at Lounge Stasiun Gambir.

The partnership focuses on creating a more comfortable and exclusive travel experience for BTN clients using KAI Wisata services.

Joint Marketing and Digital Integration Initiatives

BTN and KAI Wisata will pursue joint marketing initiatives, including joint promotions and aligned branding programs. The collaboration will also integrate digital services through applications like Bale, EDC machines, QRIS, Virtual Accounts, and other digital payment methods.

Rully explained that this integration aims to improve transaction volumes both offline and online while providing a more practical service experience for customers.

Executive Lounges and Premium Facilities for BTN Clients

The partnership includes enhancing premium facilities for BTN clients, such as Executive Lounges at stations for BTN Prioritas and BTN Private members. “Collaboration allows the utilization of various BTN products and services within the KAI Wisata ecosystem, so customers can enjoy more practical and value-added travel,” Rully said.

Property and Land Development Opportunities

Raden Agus Dwinanto Budiadji, CEO of KAI Wisata, highlighted that the company integrates travel experience services while managing assets and heritage properties owned by PT KAI. “KAI Wisata is a company that integrates experience services while managing assets and properties from PT KAI, including heritage stations and buildings that we will optimize,” he said.

The MoU also includes exploring the development and utilization of KAI-owned land to generate greater value. “One area of collaboration is the utilization of KAI’s land and property management to generate added value,” Raden Agus added.
