National Recognition at Gemini Academy for Higher Education

During the event, the Gemini Academy for Higher Education competition results were announced.

The competition involved 394 public and private universities from 35 provinces across Indonesia.

Unpad won First Place National in the category “The Institution with the Highest Number of Gemini Certified Faculty,” confirming its position as the institution with the strongest AI literacy and implementation at the national level.

Unpad also secured First Place National in the Individual Category (Gemini AI Dissemination), awarded to Firman Ramdhani, S.Tr.Kom is a staff member of the Directorate of Planning, Information Systems, and Digital Transformation (DPSITD).

Strategic Presentation on AI-Driven Learning

The Unpad delegation was led by Dr. Intan Nurma Yulita, Head of the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation, accompanied by Rafly, S.Si., Coordinator of IT Services and Partnership Relations, and Firman Ramdhani, S.Tr.Kom, IT Governance and Partnership Relations Analyst from DPSITD.

The forum gathered leaders of public and private universities across Indonesia to formulate the future of academic ecosystems based on Google’s platform.

Global figures present included Sapna Chadha (VP Southeast Asia and South Asia Frontier) and Felix Goh (Gemini Adoption Lead, Southeast Asia & Greater China).

Dr. Intan delivered a presentation titled “Leveraging AI Tools for Enhanced Learning Effectiveness,” explaining Unpad’s strategy in integrating Artificial Intelligence to create an adaptive and efficient learning ecosystem with global impact for students and educators.

398 Members of the Academic Community Earn Gemini AI Certification

The achievement reflects collaboration across multiple units within Unpad, including DPSITD, the Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (PIPP), the Center for Knowledge and Skills for Education Personnel, and the Directorate of Student Affairs.

A total of 398 lecturers, education staff, and students have successfully completed and obtained international Gemini AI certification.

This milestone demonstrates Unpad’s readiness to enter the era of Intelligence-Driven Education and strengthen the integration of advanced technology in higher education.
