Bank Mandiri reinforced its role in supporting micro business growth and the national economy through Mandiri Micro Fest (MMF) 2025, a program designed to help micro and small enterprises (UMKM) scale up.
MMF 2025 Supports UMKM Through Integrated Programs
The MMF 2025 program includes multiple stages: Festival, Training and Mentoring, Hyperlocal promotions, and Champion presentations. The initiative engaged 150 UMKM across Medan, Surabaya, and Jakarta who actively participated in all program stages.
During the Festival, UMKM participants showcased their flagship products directly to the public. The events drew more than 6,000 visitors across the three cities, allowing businesses to expand market reach, introduce their brands, and establish new consumer relationships.
Digital Transactions See Significant Growth
Bank Mandiri promoted the use of QRIS for all transactions during the festival, providing a convenient, digital, and secure payment experience. "In the MMF 2025 series, UMKM participants recorded a 45 percent increase in QRIS Livin’ Merchant transactions, or nearly 3,000 additional transactions," said Saptari, Director of Consumer Banking at Bank Mandiri. This growth reflects both increased sales activity and improved business capacity for participants.
Training and Mentoring Strengthen Business Skills
After the Festival, UMKM participants attended Training and Mentoring sessions at Rumah BUMN. Experienced mentors focused on financial management and business promotion strategies. The involvement of the local Cooperatives and UMKM Office enhanced the program’s credibility, providing participants with practical knowledge to manage their businesses and advance to higher levels.
Hyperlocal Promotions and Champion Stage Expand Market Reach
To maintain engagement after training, participants applied their skills in the Hyperlocal stage, promoting their businesses on social media with support from local influencers. This stage extended market reach and strengthened connections between UMKM and consumers.
In the Champion stage, participants presented their medium-term business expansion strategies for the next 2–3 years, demonstrating vision, readiness to compete, and commitment to scaling their businesses.
Strategic Collaboration Strengthens Micro Economy
MMF 2025 is a collaborative effort between Bank Mandiri, Rumah BUMN, and the Cooperatives & UMKM Offices in each region. Saptari explained, "Mandiri Micro Fest is not just a festival, but a platform for micro businesses to scale sustainably." The program aligns with the national agenda to build a resilient and inclusive micro economy and supports President Prabowo Subianto’s vision to strengthen the people’s economy and financial inclusion.
"Through Mandiri Micro Fest 2025, Bank Mandiri is confident in its ability to strengthen the national UMKM ecosystem while contributing to more equitable economic growth across Indonesia," Saptari added.
