PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) has set key performance and financial targets for 2026. The plans, outlined in the 2026 Annual Work and Budget Plan (RKAT), are based on macroeconomic trends, new government policies, and potential growth in listed companies and investors.

Projected Trading Volume and Securities Listings

BEI aims for an average daily trading value of Rp14.5 trillion over 239 trading days. “The number of securities listed in 2026 is targeted at 555, including stocks, bonds, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF), Real Estate Investment Funds (DIRE), Infrastructure Investment Funds (DINFRA), and Asset-Backed Securities (EBA),” said Iman Rachman, President Director of BEI, after the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPSB) held in a hybrid format on Wednesday (29/10). The exchange also plans to attract two million new investors next year.

Financial Outlook: Revenue, Profit, and Assets

BEI projects revenue to grow by 9.54% to Rp1.94 trillion, with net profit rising 18.02% to Rp300.8 billion. Total assets at the end of 2026 are expected to reach Rp7.49 trillion, with total equity of Rp6.41 trillion. The Cost to Income Ratio is forecasted to decline to 80.5%, indicating improved financial management.

BEI has prepared a Master Plan for 2026–2030 focusing on expanding investor access, increasing liquidity, and enhancing capital market technology.

Legal and Technological Enhancements in Capital Markets

BEI also proposed amendments to Article 3, Paragraph 3 of its Articles of Association to strengthen its legal position as an Alternative Market Organizer (PPA) and provider of an Inter-Market Electronic Trading Platform (ETP) regulated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
