The government collected Rp 333.38 trillion from the trade sector from January to August 2025, marking a 3 percent increase from the same period in 2024. On average, monthly tax revenue from trade reached Rp 41.7 trillion.
Trade Sector’s Contribution to Overall Tax Revenue
The trade sector contributed 23.1 percent of total tax revenue during the first eight months of 2025. The manufacturing sector remains the largest contributor, accounting for 27.1 percent of total tax receipts.
