Fourteen students from the Faculty of Economics and Business at Universitas Gadjah Mada (FEB UGM) participated in the NUS Startup Ecosystem Program 2025. The program took place from January 5 to 12 in Jakarta and Bandung. It served as a platform for students to develop entrepreneurial skills.
The selected students came from Management and Accounting programs across different academic years. They received support from CSDU, including administrative services, mentoring, and funding.
During the program, participants engaged in discussions with experts. They visited startups and incubators to gain real-world insights. They also attended workshops and entrepreneurship training.
In addition, students explored local culture. They built networks with startup founders and took part in pitching sessions.
Zhorif Asyraf, a Management student from the 2022 cohort, shared his experience. He was placed in a pitching team with five students from different universities. This setup encouraged collaboration and diverse learning.
“I feel fortunate to join the NUS Startup Ecosystem Program because it provided valuable insights and experiences,” Zhorif said at FEB UGM on Monday (Feb 3).
He noted that the program broadened his perspective. It deepened his understanding of the global startup and business ecosystem. “This was a great opportunity to interact with students from different backgrounds,” he added.
