BCA Loan Growth Reaches Rp1,017 Trillion in August 2026

BCA's total loan growth covered several sectors, including corporate, commercial, and SME financing. According to the bank, its loan growth was the highest among private banks and remained above the industry average over the past 15 years.

The bank's total loans first exceeded Rp1,000 trillion in the first half of 2026, continuing its positive lending trend.

BCA SME Financing Outpaces Industry Growth

BCA's SME financing reached Rp134 trillion as of July 2026, increasing 6.9% year-on-year. This exceeded the banking industry's average SME loan growth of 1.2% over the same period, based on data from Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK).

BCA Deputy President Director John Kosasih said the bank's positive loan growth reflected its commitment to providing financing for businesses across various sectors.

"Positive loan growth at BCA reflects our commitment to providing financing for businesses across various sectors. We see the substantial need for businesses to continue growing. Therefore, one of the solutions we provide is the MerDeKa Multipurpose Business Credit (Material, Developer, and Contractor), or KMU MerDeKa, a multipurpose business loan program for businesses in the materials, developers, and contractors sectors. We consistently apply prudent lending principles to ensure that the growth we achieve remains healthy and sustainable," Kosasih said.

BCA Expands Support for Small and Medium Enterprises

BCA supports businesses seeking to expand nationally, adopt digital technology, enter global markets, and obtain halal certification. In addition to providing financing to borrowers, the bank offers programs to support business development from the early stages through market expansion.

These initiatives include BCA Bangga Lokal, UMKM Go Export, Halal Certification, and BCA UMKM Fest.

BCA said it continues to provide banking services that meet the financing needs of customers across different segments. The bank also considers business prospects and economic developments when providing credit to productive sectors.

BCA Maintains Asset Quality Amid Credit Expansion

BCA reported a non-performing loan (NPL) ratio of 1.8% and a loan-at-risk (LAR) ratio of 4.7% as of August 2026.

The bank said it remains committed to maintaining credit growth, financing quality, business growth, and liquidity management while continuing to support productive sectors.

"With healthy loan growth, maintained asset quality, and strong funding support, we hope to continue accompanying our customers as they develop their businesses and contribute to Indonesia's sustainable economic growth," Kosasih said.
