Digital Realty Brings Tier IV Data Center Reliability and ServiceFabric to Indonesia

Digital Realty, the world’s largest cloud- and carrier-neutral data center platform, is expected to launch its next-generation interconnection solution, ServiceFabric, in Indonesia in the second half of 2026 (22/04). The deployment will be carried out through Digital Realty Bersama, its 50/50 joint venture with Bersama Digital Infrastructure Asia.

The ServiceFabric platform is designed to enable seamless connectivity, data exchange, and workload deployment across a global ecosystem through Digital Realty’s PlatformDIGITAL®.

Deployment at CGK10 and CGK11 Data Centers Through Joint Venture

ServiceFabric will be deployed at Digital Realty’s CGK10 and CGK11 data centers in Indonesia. The rollout aims to support faster deployment and scalable digital operations for customers across the country.

The CGK11 facility hosts the IIX-JK2 node operated by the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII), enabling ultra-low latency for domestic traffic. This strengthens the site’s role as a key interconnection hub for businesses in Indonesia.

Tier IV Reliability Supports High Availability Infrastructure

Digital Realty’s operations in Indonesia are designed based on Tier IV principles, the highest level of data center classification. This standard ensures 99.995% uptime through fully redundant systems and fault tolerance.

The infrastructure is built to deliver high levels of security, resilience, and operational reliability for enterprise and digital workloads.

Indonesia’s Digital Economy Drives Infrastructure Demand

Indonesia is the largest digital economy in Southeast Asia and is projected to exceed approximately USD 130 billion by 2026. This growth is supported by increasing internet usage, expansion of digital services, and enterprise transformation.

The rising demand is driving the need for scalable, resilient, and globally connected digital infrastructure across the country.

AI and High-Performance Computing Push Connectivity Needs

ServiceFabric is designed to unify cloud service providers, networks, and IT infrastructure into a single platform through PlatformDIGITAL®. The system reduces geographical and technical barriers to interconnection, enabling more efficient data exchange between local and global environments.

Digital Realty Bersama Director of Business & Commercial Andha Yudha Permana said, “We are excited to bring our ServiceFabric platform to Indonesia. This open platform fosters a collaborative and well-connected ecosystem that is critical for enabling artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads.”

Digital Realty Asia Pacific Managing Director and Head Serene Nah stated, “Indonesia is a key market for us in Asia Pacific, given the pace of digital growth and the increasing demand for connected infrastructure.”

She added that ServiceFabric will help customers link local infrastructure to regional and global platforms more easily to support digital growth.
