MDI Ventures introduced Explorise Pulse 2025, a renewed version of its long-running Nex-BE Fest business matchmaking event, as part of Synergy Innovation Week 2025 in Bandung on Thursday–Friday (27/11).
A New Format to Strengthen Indonesia’s Digital Ecosystem
The venture capital arm of Telkom Indonesia updated the program into a more exclusive and focused format to support deeper discussions and targeted collaboration.
The event continues the mission of Nex-BE Fest to create strategic innovation and strengthen cross-sector synergy for digital transformation.
Executives attending the program included Telkom Indonesia’s Director of IT Digital Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi, MDI Ventures Director Roby Roediyanto, TelkomMetra President Director Pramasaleh H. Utomo, representatives from MDI’s portfolio startups, state-owned enterprises, and TelkomGroup entities.
Business Matchmaking and Insight Sessions
Business matchmaking remained the main agenda, creating continuous opportunities for partnership between MDI portfolio startups, TelkomGroup companies, and other state-owned enterprises.
This year’s approach aimed to be more efficient and sustainable, offering space for structured dialogue and knowledge exchange across the ecosystem.
The event also featured Nex-PERT Insights, which discussed “Strong Foundations: Embedding Governance & Transparency in Your Startup Journey,” and included the launch of eight impact reports showing the concrete contributions of MDI’s portfolio startups.
Leaders Stress Trust, Governance, and Collaboration
In his keynote speech, Faizal Rochmad Djoemadi emphasized the need for ongoing innovation to reinforce the national digital ecosystem.
“Innovation must continue, even when the ecosystem faces challenges. Therefore, all stakeholders need to work together, rebuilding the trust that becomes the main foundation of our digital ecosystem. Through Explorise Pulse 2025, Telkom supports strong collaboration to ensure Indonesia remains a space for young talent to experiment, create, and deliver impactful solutions for Indonesia,” he said.
MDI Ventures Director Roby Roediyanto noted that Innovation Week is important for building trust and integrity among startups, investors, and other stakeholders.
“The journey to build the digital economy is not only about creating technology, but also about how to build trust and collaboration. Through this initiative, it is expected to give us the opportunity to align strategies, accelerate synergy, and strengthen Indonesia’s competitiveness amid the development of the regional digital economy,” he stated.
Targeting Broader Technology Adoption
With a value-creation and impact-driven approach, MDI aims to continue promoting the use of technologies across sectors.
The focus includes artificial intelligence, fintech, cyber security, and enterprise solutions that are essential for supporting digital transformation and long-term impact in Indonesia.
