PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom), Indonesia’s leading digital telecommunications company, has formed a strategic partnership with Fortinet, Inc., a global leader in cybersecurity and network solutions (25/11).

The MoU was signed on 17 November 2025 by Telkom’s Director of Strategic Business Development & Portfolio, Seno Soemadji, and Fortinet’s Senior Vice President Legal & Compliance International, Thomas Schmidt. The official signing ceremony took place in Bandung and was attended by VP Global Strategic Partnership & Synergy Arfianto Ramadhian and Director Fortinet Indonesia Edwin Lim.

Partnership Focuses on Cybersecurity and Digital Transformation

The initiative is a strategic step to strengthen telecommunications, digital services, and innovative ICT solutions in line with Indonesia’s digital transformation goals. Fortinet will support Telkom by providing integrated cybersecurity solutions across IoT, cloud, and digital infrastructure.

Seno Soemadji commented, “This collaboration reflects Telkom’s commitment to accelerating Indonesia’s digital transformation by integrating world-class technology into our infrastructure and service portfolio. The partnership will combine Telkom’s digital services with Fortinet’s portfolio, including next-generation firewalls, SASE, switches, and access points, to deliver scalable, secure, and market-ready solutions. These solutions target sectors such as government, financial services, telecommunications, and corporations.

Edwin Lim stated, “As the nation accelerates digital transformation, Fortinet is proud to support Telkom with AI-based approaches and platforms that enable secure innovation at scale, covering critical infrastructure, cloud, and emerging technologies. The Telkom-Fortinet collaboration will also focus on enhancing B2B services under Telkom’s Connectivity+ portfolio, strengthening SD-WAN and cybersecurity offerings. Both companies plan to support human resource development through Fortinet technology training programs, while jointly integrating technology to address digitalization challenges across sectors and increase Indonesia’s digital resilience.
